When I was 14, I was diagnosed with cancer in the emergency room. My primary care doctor should have caught it early, but they dismissed the symptoms I shared as "teenaged girl issues" and didn't follow up. By the time I was diagnosed, I had to have chemo and surgery.
We're building Cobalt so doctors can build practices they love and so that their patients will finally get the care they deserve. Our business model is designed to align incentives: we win when doctors build thriving practices and patients get access to great care.
We created Cobalt because we believe patients and doctors deserve better. We got our start as a childcare platform and supported 4,000+ families before returning to our roots in healthcare access and delivery. We're focusing on primary and palliative care because believe the doctors who help us live and die should be better supported to do the vital work they do.
